You won't find a cheaper plumber in Atlanta who will cost you a fortune serving Cass County, Texas!
I know a little about plumbing...
- Hot on the left
- Cold on the right
- Shit don't run uphill
- Payday on Friday
- Don't bite your fingernails
...and now, according to the State of Texas, I don't even know that much to call myself a plumber!
(KLTV) - Plumbers in Texas will no longer require licensing from the state after lawmakers this week eliminated the need for a state plumbing code and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiner.

What does this mean? It means any yahoo that doesn't know squat about plumbing can open shop! Can local municipalities regulate plumbers within their jurisdictions? I reckon they could... a lot of cities have their own codes that build on the state's code.
Satirical Social Media Posts
Perhaps you've seen some of my satirical posts on facebook.
No, #ThisGuy is not really starting a plumbing company. No, #ThisGuy isn't really hiring.
The posts on social media were designed to add a humorous element to what could become a reality if the state deregulates the plumbing industry.
"We've got this."

Governor Abbott released a tweet explaining he could keep the plumbing board alive without calling a special session. We'll see how it goes.
In the mean time, don't call me if you need a plumber. Call someone who was formerly licensed by the state, and will hopefully be licensed, again. We really don't need a bunch of Jerry Goodsons going around calling themselves plumbers and really messing things up.
